This course covers proper stretcher operation, securement, loading and unloading procedures, and safety precautions to prevent injury to both the passenger and the care provider. Participants learn how to assist individuals with limited mobility, communicate professionally and respectfully, and respond appropriately in emergency situations. Training includes supervised practice with equipment to build confidence and ensure proper technique. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to provide safe, compliant, and compassionate stretcher transport services in accordance with State of Minnesota Regulations.
