Our Courses

We provide training for NEMT/STS Drivers in the state of Minnesota. Offering up-to-date quality training for both new drivers and those looking to complete their 3 year refresher training. All classes are offered in a hybrid and fully-in person format.

We also offer American Red Cross Certified CPR courses and 55+ Defensive Driving courses.

NEMT/STS New Driver Course

This comprehensive course provides all new NEMT drivers in Minnesota with certified training in First Aid, Abuse Prevention, Passenger Assistance, Child Passenger Restraint and Defensive Driving. This course is offered in both in-person and hybrid options.

American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/ AED

The American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios, students learn CPR, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and basic first aid skills. Upon successful completion, participants receive an American Red Cross certification, valid for two years.

NEMT/STS - 3 Year Refresher

This course is for certified NEMT drivers in Minnesota who are looking to re-certify per the states three year requirement. This course includes, refresher versions of Passenger Assistance, Defensive Driving, First Aid, Abuse Prevention and Continuing Education. This course is offered in both in-person and hybrid options.

55+ Defensive Driving Course

This Minnesota Department of Public Safety–approved 55+ defensive driving course is designed for drivers age 55 and older to refresh safe driving skills, learn defensive strategies to help reduce crash risk, and stay current with traffic laws. Upon successful completion of the state-approved course, participants receive a certificate that may qualify them for a 10 % auto insurance premium discount for three years.

Stretcher Assistance

This hands-on training prepares Minnesota Special Transportation Service (STS) drivers and attendants to safely and professionally assist passengers transported on stretchers. Participants learn safe lifting, loading, and securement techniques, along with best practices for communication, passenger comfort, and compliance with MnDOT requirements.
